List of names designated according to a column of sequential eastern Arabic numbers. Although the meaning is unclear, a preliminary reading of the cursive is "אורל עלה פראד אורז רשידי לא איסר". The bifolium's list includes a wide variety of surnames attested in the 18th/19th-century fragments such as: Ḥayyīm Mosseri, Mordechai Suares, Eliyyahu ʿAkubas Levi, Yehuda Romano, Mordekhay Suares, Reʾuven Rolo, Mikhaʾīl Naʿīm, Ḥayyīm Roṣano, Mūsa Revaḥ. Some entries in the recto's lower right corner reference Cairo's northern port on the Nile (Būlāq). The verso is blank yet the fragment's overall structure as a bifolium and its distinctive crease is suggestive of the existence of broader register that could perhaps be dated to specific years. MCD.
