Accounts in Judaeo-Arabic detailing expenses and outgoing payments to many individuals around the various localities near Qalyūb. The accounts are undated but the paleography and content helps to date them to the early nineteenth century. The expenses listed are likely the cost of wages for state employees (מסתכדמין). Further research is necessary to identify additional villages in the account subheadings, many or all of which are likely within 5-10 miles north/west of Qalyūb based on the previously identified locations. The second entry "לכ'מיים" in the upper row on the verso may be a mispelling of "الأخمين", a town ~2 miles west of Qalyub. MCD.
