Communal list mostly in Ladino with many Hebrew spelling errors. Possibly a record of synagogue honors and congregants' corresponding donations. For an early modern document that fits clearly in this specific sub-genre of communal lists, see: Moss. IXa,3.20 (PGPID 26885). The paleographical dating could be 18th- or 19th-century, but the scribal hand is very idiosyncratic so this estimate is tentative. There is probably a partial year in line 2: '94 (٩٤). The list is titled "ב׳׳ה בצט נוטת די אלייות דיל ק׳׳ק נגב..סנת" which yields: "... note of āliyyot (sic) of the Q[ahal] Q[adosh]..." The erratic spelling of āliyyot (with א rather than ע and with יי) is then repeated at the opening of most of the individual entries in the singular form אליית, aliyyat. The first entry is one of the more legible ones from the entire document: "torah finials of Yom Qīppūr(sic) from(? מין) y[ear] 94" (רימונים יום קיפור מין ס׳ ٩٤). Other entries relate to "aliyyot" for the holiday "Sūqōt (sic)" (סוקות) and in a few instances the scribe notes that contributions were made "by me" (por mi) or a certain "David." One entry on the left side of the document mentions "the āliyya of the Q[ahal] Q[adosh] Porṭegezes (sic)," probably a reference to the Portuguese Congregation of early modern Cairo. MCD.
