Fragment of a communal letter in Judaeo-Arabic with wide line spacing. Discussing the qualifications of the son of Mevorakh as cantor and communal leader: ודלך כארג ען מא . . . מן אלכראמה ל . . . . . אלתורה וליס לה צנאעה גיר אלחזנות ולעפתה ומכ . . תה מן אללה וכון לם יבקא חזאן מתלה ולא אקדר מנה ולא אחפט מנה ולא . . . . וקד . . . ואלדה אלחזן רב מבורך אופי אופי מנה פי . . . . חפטה אלחזנות וסיאסה אלגמאעה In the margin there is a commentary on the Shemaʿ and on verso there is a commentary on the Shemaʿ (Deuteronomy 6:4-9), with citations such as 1 Shemuʾel 7:3.
