Informal note to Abū l-Riḍā ha-Talmid ha-Vatiq (appears also in T-S 10J4.14 (PGPID 3017) as al-Wathīq). Dating: ca. early 13th century. The sender reports that his copy of a certain book is with Raḍiyy al-Dawla, who intends to copy it "at my place." Thus he can't make it available to others. If the addressee wishes to loan his own copy to Abū l-Faraj, and then the sender will give him his own copy or Raḍiyy al-Dawla's copy, then he should do so. al-Talmid al- involving someone named Raḍiyy al-Dawla, a copy to be made, and Abū l-Faraj. Verso has the remains of an earlier Arabic document. The only phrase preserved is "S[anad?] al-Dawla."
