Large document in Arabic script, preserving the ends of ~15 lines. The upper part may be the bottom of a legal query or petition, probably ending with a raʾy clause (wa-li-ḥaḍratih. . . . ), an inshallāh, and an ʿalāma: الشكر لله وحده وهو حسبي وبه استعين. There is a separate section underneath written in smaller letters, mentioning al-amīr al-muwaffaq Shams al-Dīn, and various instructions about interpersonal obligations -- probably the response to the upper section. Reused on recto for Hebrew piyyuṭ. Needs further examination. ASE
