- عنده هذه شريعة ادعى بعد هذا وضمان[
- وطلب منهم الغرامة في(من؟) الراس الـ[ـبقـ]ـر اربعة منه(؟) ولم ناظـ[ـر؟
- منه قط خفارة والمماليك يسلوا في خروج الامر المطاع[
- مع المذكور على قضية العدل فلا يغرموا الا الثمن المعروف[
- الراس البقر الذي ذكر عدمه بغير زيادة ولا طـ[رح؟
- ولا حيف وكشف يده عن ظلمهم عدلا عليهم ان شا الله
- الحمد لله وحده وصلواته على سيدنا محمد واله
- حسبنا الله ونعم الكيل

- [He has] with him this … which he claimed after this, and a ḍamān …
- And he demanded from them a fine of a head of cattle, four of them, and he did not consider [?]
- from it at all [any] khafāra. The servants ask for the issuance of the obeyed order
- concerning the aforementioned matter, in accordance with justice, so that they should not be made to pay more than the recognised amount
- for a head of cattle, which he stated was lacking, without increase or deduction [?],
- and without injustice; and that his hand be restrained from oppressing them, as an act of justice toward them, God willing.
- Praise be to God alone, and His blessings be upon our lord Muḥammad and his progeny.
- God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
