Letter in Arabic script. Well preserved and neatly written. Addressed to 'my brother.' The sender received the addressee's letter with news of the death of Muḥammad al-Nīlī(?), and he now sends phrases of condolence. The next part seems to be an update on the construction of a waterwheel (sāqiya), together with 'my brother' and Ṣāfī. The sender expects to be finished within a couple of days. "As for the site where the [...] was, maybe I/we/he will make (or: there will be made) something else to the east and to the west (ilā l-qibla wa-l-gharb shayʾ ākhar). Needs further examination.
