תיאור
Medieval glossary in Judaeo-Arabic for "God" or "God of heaven" in 15 languages including but not limited to Aramaic ("Targumiyya"), Samaritan, Nubian, Circassian, Russian, Armenian, Frankish, Georgian, Coptic, Persian, possibly Greek ("Rūmiyya"), and Arabic. This is followed by a few lines in Arabic script containing the opening verse of a poem by the 10th-century poet al-Waʾwāʾ al-Dimashqī (بِاللَهِ رَبِّكُما عُوجَا عَلَى سَكَنِي...). (Verses by the same poet appear also on T-S Ar.34.88.) Dating: uncertain, but likely ca. 13th century. The handwriting is very similar to (but not identical with) that of the cantor Abū Sahl Levi (d. 1211). ASE
