Legal declaration, or perhaps a legal query, presenting the facts of a business dispute between the jewel merchants Avraham b. Ḥayyim and Yehuda de לויא. In Hebrew. Dating: Late, perhaps 16th century. Mentions Adrianople/אנדרינופולי (Edirne) multiple times in l. 25 (f. 1r), l. 27 (f. 1r), l. 3 (f. 1v); and Castile l. 17 (f. 2r). "Levanīm" coinage is mentioned throughout, an alternate label for Ottoman silver akçe. (MCD with information from Shmuel Glick's description/edition in FGP).
