  3. وشكره من قسطنطين فان اكثر المزارعين قدعاد ما(؟) ولم يبق غيرهم فما يعرف السبب في

  4. ذلك ويختار بحياط على جميع ما لهم  بالناحية من غلات وعوامل وغيرها اتم احتياط

  5. ويتقصى عن حالهم وان ظهر لك ريبة فانهم قدمت القبض على مغارة(؟) بن . [

  6. الاعتقال والتضييق عليه الذي يقوم بجميع ما يامرهم ولم يقبل منه شي [

  7. ] القسط وعليهم على كمال وتمامه ولا يرخص(؟) له

  3. and his gratitude from Constantine, for the [. . .] of the farmers has returned(?) and none remain except them. The cause of this 

  4. is therefore not known. He should choose to exercise caution/surround regarding all that belongs to them in the district — crops/yields, fiscal agents, and other matters — with the utmost vigilance,

  5. and inquire thoroughly into their condition. And if suspicion appears to you, then they have ordered the arrest of Mughāra(?) son of [. . .]

  6. [and] detention and pressure upon him, he being the one who carries out everything they command; and nothing was accepted from him

  7. ] the justice upon them in full and complete measure, and he is not to be granted leniency(?).
