Legal document, but could also be a state document because of the various ʿalāʾim (registration marks) on the top of the document and the mention of "al-muqṭaʿyn". In Arabic script. Dated: 647 H. Several of the witness signatures are prefaced with the word "ḥaḍara," and they are (strangely) located in the right margin and upper margin. The scribe gives his name at the upper left [...] wakīl [...]. Also mentioned is a ḥānūt (shop/warehouse) which the beneficiary can use as per their discretion. One particular ʿalāma: "al-ḥamdu li-llah ʿalā kull ḥāl" is repeated a few times. The document itself needs examination for content.
