Letter from Yosef כיטו(?), in Alexandria, to Yaʿaqov אלחנאצי (=al-Ḥanesī = "of Ḥanes (Damietta)"), in Fustat/Cairo. In Ladino. Dated: Monday, 17 Shevaṭ 5500 AM = 15 February 1740 CE. He mentions that he previously reported on the death of his brother Manuel and now with great sadness (con amargura de mi corazón) must now report on the death of the son of his brother Mikhaʾel after an illness of 15 days (una jazinura de quince días). Needs further examination.(Information in part from CUDL)
