Letter addressed to the Nagid, either Mevorakh b. Saʿadya or Moshe b. Mevorakh (?). In Judaeo-Arabic. In the scribal hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi (fl. 1100-1138 CE). Dating: 1100-1138 CE, based on the years when Ḥalfon was active but this estimate can be narrowed through further review of which Nagid was the letter recipient. The sender recommends the bearer, the cantor Yisraʾel who arrived this year from al-Mahdiyya, for charity. Requires further examination.
