Letter in Judaeo-Arabic with the address in Arabic script. Dating: likely 11th or early 12th century. From Salāma b. Shūʿa and Maḥfūẓ b. Būlus, in Balaqṭar to Abū Sahl Yaʿqūb b. [...]. Rudimentary handwriting. Mentions Syria, Latakia, and Antioch and several people's names. They are apparently in prison (מן אלחבס . . . פי בית אן מגלק . . .) in a town called Balaqṭar (בלקאטר) near Al[exandria]. Merits further examination.
