Legal document: Bodl. MS heb. a 2/3
Legal document Bodl. MS heb. a 2/3Description
Right hand side of a long long legal deed in Hebrew, in which Amīna bt. Moshe declares that neither she, nor her husband Shelomo, have any property whatsoever. The court warns her that she, and her daughters Suwayda and Sutayt, who were both present as well, are the only heirs of her husband. The deed is dated to the 19th of Tevet of the year 47[..] AM, which can be anytime between 940-1039. It was written in an town on the Egyptian town on the Mediterranean coast (דעל ים מצרים), perhaps Ḥannes (Tinnis), like the other Hebrew legal document on the same shelfmark (PGPID 9301), which together form the supporting matter for the liturgical poems copied on verso.
