Description

Literary anecdote (khabar) in the name of Ḥammād al-Rāwiya, conveying an account he heard from ʿUmar b. Abī Rabīʿa in Mecca about an ʿUdhrī poet named Jaʿd. Practically identical to the anecdote titled "خبر الجعدين" in modern editions of al-ʿIqd al-Farīd (https://shamela.ws/book/23789/2643). Here it is titled "خبر الجعد بن المهجع." On verso, on the righthand side, there is a basmala followed by a few undeciphered lines in Arabic script. On the lefthand side, there is a table of Greek/Coptic numerals.
