Description

Decree, in Arabic script. Approximately twelve lines, later cut and reused to form quires. It is difficult to piece the decree fragments in the order of their writing and the preserved lines do not reveal much content but from what can be discerned, the decree appears to address a conflict between two people or parties which had a legal consequence "a disagreement which led to the foregoing lawsuit over it, and they gathered to demand their right and there passed between them and […]". The beginning of the name of the official is also readable (الامير ال). Needs examination.
