State receipt, in Arabic script. Dated: 24 Ramaḍān 1239 AH. Issued by the Bureau of Silk Looms (dīwān anwāl al-ḥarīr) in Alexandria for a payment of 25 gurūsh Rūmī to ʿAlī al-Najūrī al-bazzāz (the cloth merchant). The payment is rendered by the ṣarrāf Mūsa Naʿīm under the authority of the overseer al-Ḥajj ʿUmr Agha. MCD.
