Description

Letter, probably. In Arabic script. Mentions Muḥammad b. ʿAmmār al-Tājir in l. 3. Mentions a variant of the raʾy clause: "al-ʾārā al-ʿāliyya". Could be a petition, but could also be a formal letter, as no other petition formula is preserved. Also ends with the Quranic verse (53:22). On the verso, there are a few words in Hebrew (Proverbs 1:8). Needs further examination.
