  2. اقر ابو الفرج بن شنوده النصراني البحرى مقدم نواتية الحاكة
  3. شركة الديوان الجبريرى عند شهود هذه الحجة واشهد على نفسه في صحة
  4. عقله وبدنه وجواز امره طائعا غير مكره ولا مجبر ولا مضطهد وذلك بمدينة
  5. اخميم بتاريخ العشر الاخر من جمادى الآخرة سنة أربع وثلثين وخمسمائة انه قبض وتسلم واستوفا
  6. من ابي سعد دانيال بن مينا جهبذ الاموال بالاعمال الاخميمية من عرض المستخرج
  7. والمجرى على يده من مالها بمشارفة القاضى السعيد مخلص الدولة وامينها ابى على
  8. الحسن بن علی بن حسان وعمالة الشيخ ثقة الدولة ابى منصور هبة الله بن حسن بن
  9. هبة الله عن جـ[ـميع] الغلة المحمولة على مركبه من الاعمال الاخميمية الى مدينة قوص وهو عن خمس مائة اردب
  10. [                         ] ... كل ما قبضه أولا عن جملة ذلك وصار المبلغ اليه

  1. In the name of God, the merciful and compassionate.

  2. Abū al-Faraj ibn Shanūda, the Christian seaman, the leader of the sailors of ‘the weavers',  

  3. partners of the Jibrīrī office, acknowledged in the presence of the witnesses of  this document and called (them) to be his witnesses, while he was in sound 

  4. mind and body, legally capable of conducting his affairs, willing, not coerced, nor forced, nor constrained, this taking place in the town  

  5. of Ikhmīm in the last ten days of Jumādā II of the year five-hundred and  thirty-four, (he acknowledged) that he had taken and received in full  

  6. from Abū Saʿd Dāniyāl ibn Mīnā, the cashier of monies in the province of Ikhmīm, from the review of money received  

  7. and administered by him, under the supervision of the auspicious judge, Mukhliṣ al-Dawla wa-Amīnuhā, Abū ʿAlī  

  8. al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī ibn Ḥassān, the statement of account being drawn up by the  elder Thiqat al-Dawla, Abū Manṣūr Hibatallāh ibn Ḥasan ibn  

  9. Hibatallāh, for all the produce carried on his ship from the province of Ikhmīm to the town of Qūṣ, this being for five-hundred irdabbs  

  10. [ … ] ..... all that he received formerly for the whole, and the sum passed into his possession  

  11. [ … ] ... in that, with a valid quittance, a quittance of receipt in full, 

  12. [ … he] called witnesses on the date (of the document).
