Description
Main document: Petition or letter draft from Sulaymān from Banī Sarrāj "in the districts of Ṭaḥā and al-Ushmūnayn." In Arabic script. Dating: Late. The margins and verso are filled with additional documents or jottings in Hebrew, Judaeo-Arabic, and Arabic script. One of the Judaeo-Arabic text blocks contains a very formal taqbīl preamble addressed to someone in the government. Needs further examination.

- يقبل الارض لدى المواقف العالية وينهي انه مغارق(؟)
- مال السلطان و..لال واخذته زيادة عن مال
- السلطان من الناحية مايتين اردب والذي يختم(؟)
- الغلة ياخذ له اردب والكيال ياخذ زكية(؟) والجندي
- ورفقة....كل واحد زكية(؟) والعامل عبد الوهاب
- اخذ ما يتبين اردب ...ولم...بذالك عادة وسوا...
- من الصدقات العالية النظر في حالهم لله تعالى وعود ما اخذ
- منهم بعد عادة ويكون ذالك على ....يتحصل لهم
- بذالك العمال ويدعوا لمولانا البقا..بدوام العز
- وابقى زمانا طويلا ابدا ..
