Description

Letter, probably mercantile, in Arabic script. Addressed to a certain "mawlāya l-ustādh", from a sub-ordinate. The sender asks the addressee to not put him at his mercy "falā taḥwijnī" and requests him to do something. Might also mention baṭāriḥī, the seller of roe or fermented fish (l6).

  2. ما خفي عن مولاي الأستاذ اطال الله [بقاه وكبت حسدته]
  3. واعداه رقعتي التي كتبته (؟) لاحض..
  4. لحـ[..] من سو الحال وقد [
  5. حضرتك ادرك الله له [
  6. ان يعامل بطارحي عليك واين له[
  7. من بعض عن (؟) يعامل في مثل هذا
  8. ولا احد .. الى [
  9. وقد كان عبده انفذ الى [
  10. عليه بان ياخذه له وقد
  11. اسمه وقصدتك فلا تحو[جني
