Description
Letter of recommendation, or maybe conveying the arrival of a certain Najīb al-Dawla. The writer introduces Najīb al-Dawla to the addressee and conveys his desire to meet with him so that he may seek his counsel, benefit from his generosity, and deliver his zakāt. There is a mention of 700, but not sure if that refers to the year or a sum. Reused for Hebrew piyyuṭ.

- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
- اتا نجيب الدولة على مولاي الشيخ اطال الله بقاه وادام عزه
- وتايده وسعادته ونعمته يسل الحاجة واذا عرضت
- وعيلتي(؟) عليك يسل حضوره بمشاهدته او مشورة
- بما يستعمله ليلحقه زكاته ولطف ضيافته وتدبيره
- يتطول ويكون الجواب عن هذه..ذلك...سبعماية ذلك ان شا الله
- حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل
