Small fragment in Judaeo-Arabic, probably literary, from the introduction to a work by al-Fārābī. Less likely a letter, though the layout (with blank verso) often suggests documentary rather than literary.

Verso (original use): Fragment of a legal document in Arabic script, referring to a period of one year (mudda sana kāmila) and a drug store (fī dukkān al-ʿiṭr). Might be related to the Judaeo-Arabic partnership agreement on recto.
Possibly dated with a Hijrī year in the headings on the recto and verso but it is unclear how/if the scribe denoted it alphanumerically following the month "Rabīʿ Thānī." Requires further examination.
