Legal document. Testimony certifying that the groom-to-be had received the trousseau estimate (taqwim) that the bride was going to bring into the marriage. It was customary to bring together the trousseau and estimate it in public. Bride: Sitt al-Fakhr. Groom: __ ha–Levi. The groom's early payment (muqaddam) is 30 dinars. [NB: this document was mistakenly conflated with T-S 20.48 [PGPID 7513] because the two are cited in the same footnote in Med. Soc. III] RR, MR, AA
