الوصف

Deed for the lease of a house. Location: Fustat Dated: Thursday, 5 Tammuz 1387 Seleucid = 9 June 1076 CE. The parties are Sason b. Natan and Shela b. Shelomo Ibn al-Qaṭāʾif. Signed by Menashshe b. Yaʿaqov, Moshe b. Shelomo, and Ghālib b. Ḥalfon. The house is located in the al-Maṣāṣa neighborhood in Zuqāq Marzubān. Shela leases 3/4 of the adjacent houses to Sason b. Natan for 12 months, beginning with Av 1076 CE, against 4.5 dinars paid in advance. Sason owned the other 1/4 of the house. Before, Shela had stood security for 20 dinars which Sason owed and from which obligation he is now freed. The same house appears in T-S 16.356 (PGPID 7492).
