Letter from Shemuel b. Saʿadya ha-Levi to Moshe 'the trustee of the merchants' (Neʾeman ha-Soḥarim). Goitein's index card indicates that the sender is not identical with the well-known judge and court scribe. However, the address is in fact in the handwriting of the famous Shemuel b. Saʿadya, and the letter itself is in the hand of his son Yosef.
