1. תזכיר של ברהון בן אסחק ז"ל (על) מא שהגיע בשביל נהוראי בן נסים. 
2. אבקש ממך, אדוני, ייתן לך אלוהים שלום, אם יעניק לך אלוהים שלום, קכל מה שהיה לך 
3. באוניות בשביל אדוני ורבי אבו נצר, ולאדוני ורבי אבו אלקאסם, ותמכור
4. את המשי שאצלך, ועלה לפסטאט מהר, ותטיל על בן ישועה שיקבל בשבילך
5. את שאר הדברים שבשבילך ב(אוניית) סמיון והאחרים, ושבשבילנו, ותראה כמה דינרים הצטברו אצלך,
6. ותבקש מאדוני ורבי אבו נצר, שיוסיף לך עליהם כמה שאתה זקוק ויכתוב לך מכתבים
7. לבוציר ולמושל בדילאץ, ותחפש אולי תמצא אדם מאנשינו מן המכירים
8. את המקום, הצטרף אליו, אם תתאחר יציאתו של אדוני אבו סעיד; אבל אם ייצא בקרוב
9. הצטרף אליו; כמו כן, רד לפסטאט אל נכסיך ותשווק מה שיש לך, ותהיה מגמתך (למצוא) 
10. פשתים משובחות, ראויות לסוסה ; כיוצא בזה ביקשתי מאדוני ורבי אבו נצר
11. שיקנה ח' משואי פשתים בשביל השותפות, ויואיל להטיל עליך את קנייתם, אחרי שיבדוק אותך
12. שאתה ראוי לאמונו, שמא יהיה לך קשה העסק ולא תעמוד בו. 'עלאות' החרוזים
13. אשר לחשבוני הפרטי, יקבל אותה האדון יחד עם העופרת, עם המחצלות(?) והכרכום
14. והשמלות שיש לי בכריכה של אדוני אבו אלקאתם עבד אלרחמן, יש לי, גם כן
15. בכריכה של אדוני אבו אלקאתם עבד אלרחמן, בגד תסתרי כחול ובגד תסתרי
16. ירוק תפור; ושלח יריעת (בד) פשתים רקומה, לחשבוני הפרטי. קבלם בשבילי ומכור אותם, 
17. וקנה לי בתמורתם דבר כיוצא בזה שיש בו ברכה שלמה, ברצון האל, אם חרוזים או
18. תבלינים עדינים, כגון אטד ובושם אגוזים, מה שתמצא שהוא טוב, ואני אקח בשבילך
19. תזכיר על הסחורות האלה ומחיריהם ואשלחנו אליך. הודע לאדוני אבו אלקאסם
20. עבד אלרחמן, את אהבתי לו ומאמצי לספק את הדרוש לו, וכמה אני סובל קשות בגלל האדון 
21. אבו אלקאסם אבן אלמצלה, והודע לו על המחסור בחרוזים בגלל העיקול שהטיל על
22. דרך המגרב; והודע לאדוני, אבו זכרי יהודה, את אהבתי לו. שלחתי
23. לו עם אדוני אבו זכרי בן קָיוֹמָה ט"ו רטלים פחות שליש משי וכ' דינרי
24. זהב וביקשתי ממנו שיקנה בשבילך משי ממהדייה.

Recto

1. Memorandum for Barhun b. Isḥaq, of blessed memory, regarding [what] reached Nahray b. Nissim.
2. I ask of you, my master, may God keep you safe, that when God grants you safe arrival, you collect what belongs to you in
3. the ships belonging to my lord the elder Abū Naṣr and to my master the elder Abū l-Qasim, and sell
4. the silk that is with you, then go up to Fustat quickly. Leave Ibn Yeshu'a to collect for you
5. the remainder of what is owed to you from Simeon and others, and owed to us. Have a look and count how many dinars are with you.
6. Ask my lord the elder Abū Naṣr to supplement them with whatever you need, and to write letters for you
7. to Būṣīr and to the agent of Dīlāṣ. Look around — perhaps you will find a [p]erson from among our associates who knows
8. the place. Accompany him. If my lord Abū Saʿīd is delayed from going up (to the south), and if he wants to go quickly,
9. accompany him. Likewise, go down to Fustat to your belongings and collect what is owed to you. You should aim for
10. flax of high quality, suitable for Sūsa. Likewis[e], I asked my lord the elder Abū Naṣr
11. to purchase 8 loads of flax for the mixed partnership — perhaps he will commission you to purchase them after he secures for you
12. someone trustworthy, so that the matter does not weigh heavily on you and you cannot execute it. As for the supplement of beads
13. that is for my private account, the elder should collect it along with the lead, together with the prayer mats, the saffron,
14. and the anklets that are mine in the bundle of my lord Abū l-Q[ā]sim ʿAbd al-Raḥman. I also have in
15. the bundle of my lord Abū l-Qāsim ʿAbd al-Raḥman a blue Dustarī garment, a tailored, green Dustarī garment,
16. and an embroidered linen quilt-cover for my private account. Collect them for me and sell them,
17. and buy for me with the proceeds something of the kind that will work out (i.e., sell) well, God willing, with His blessing — either beads or
18. fine, small items such as aloeswood and dārkhasa, whatever you see fit. I will take for you
19. a memorandum of these goods and their prices and send it to you. Inform my lord Abū l-Qāsim
20. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān of my affection for him and my efforts to settle his debt, and of the trouble I am enduring from the elder
21. Abū l-Qāsim ibn al-Maṣalla. Inform him of the loss on the beads on account of his blocking
22. the route to the Maghrib. Inform my lord Abū Zikrī Yehuda of my affection for him. I have sent
23. to him via my lord Abū Zikrī ibn Qayyūma 15 ratls minus one-third of silk and 20 dinars
24. in cash, which I asked him to purchase for you

3. אכתוב לך תזכיר אחר, מפורט יותר מזה, ברצון האל, ועקב שלום.

1. Inform my lord Abū Manṣūr the scribe that I have sent him two MḤYRHs in the bundle of my lord
2. Abū l-Qāsim ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, and that we were unable to sell the preserved myrobalan that belongs to him.
3. I will write you another memorandum more detailed than this one, God willing. As for the rest, peace.
