Verso, left: beginning of a genealogical list for "the house of the learned judge": Saʿadya and his six sons, beginning with Shemuʾel the judge (al-dayyan al-maskil... ha-dayyan ha-ḥakaham ha-niflaʾ...). Parts of this text are repeated twice below, with spelling mistakes. Verso, right: jottings in Arabic and Hebrew scripts. Recto: Judaeo-Arabic commentary on Tosefta, Beraḵot 1:1, with biblical quotations. (Information in part from CUDL.)
