الوصف

State document, in Arabic script. Regarding the proceedings in the Office of Inspection in the province of al-Fayyūm. Abū Fatḥ Allāh Shawār b. Yūsuf, the chief accountant (al-Mustawfī) and the overseer of Bamawayh town (in Northern Fayyūm) appeared before the dīwān al-ashrāf (office of inspection) in the Fayyūm in the year 402 H, and solemnly swore and testified that he will deliver a certain quantity of produce/harvest (al-ghallāt) everyday.
