Fiscal document. Multiple entries, mentioning the receipt (wurūd) of large sums of money, Hilāl b. Ibrāhīm al-Khāzin (the treasurer), [...] al-Ḥusayn, a disbursement (iṭlāq) to Sayyidnā Abū l-Faḍl (Tustarī?), and al-Mawṣilī the friend (ṣāḥib) of Abū Salama al-Baghdādī. Reused between the lines both for an unidentified text in faded Arabic script and a Judaeo-Arabic commentary on Mishna Avot (it is possible that the Arabic lines are part of this, but the consistent wide space in between them suggests that they were part of an earlier document).
