Recto (secondary use): Note of gratitude to a notable. In Judaeo-Arabic. The addressee's father the ḥaver graciously met with the sender and said, "Open your door and do business (taṣarraf) wherever you like, and nobody will hinder you." Then mentions Abū l-Ḥasan and a ruqʿa. בר אעלם חצרתה אלמחרוסה יזכר בטוב אן ואלדה החבר שמרו צור תפצל אלאן באגתמאע מעה וקאל אפתח באבך ותצרף אין [שי]ת פמא יגיך מודי פקד כפית ברחמי שמים ובחיאת סיידנא ירום הודה והדרה פאן כאן אלשיך אבו אלחס[ן] קד אכד אלרקעה א . . . . פי גירהא
