Accounts in Judaeo-Arabic in the hand of Avraham Ibn Yijū. Quite faded in places. Dating: most likely 1149–51 CE during Ibn Yijū's last stay in Yemen. There are several correlations between these accounts and the letters sent to Ibn Yijū by Yeshuʿa b. Yaʿaqov ha-Kohen from Dhū Jibla in 1150 (India Book III, 31, 33, and 38). In Yeshuʿa's earliest letter, he offers to rent a home for Ibn Yijū in Dhū Jibla; the current account details Ibn Yijū's expenses in various places between Aden and Dhū Jibla including the rent for houses (e.g., in al-Juwwa and al-Janad). Yeshuʿa's earliest letter also conveys greetings from a certain Fayrūz, who is mentioned here in l. 5. A later letter from Yeshuʿa was sent to Ibn Yijū who was then staying at an unidentified location that was neither Dhū Jibla nor Aden; the current account sheds light on where he might have been staying. The mention of Maḍmūn b. Ḥasan here means that the account was written no later than the fall of 1151. The mention of Saʿid b. Marḥab (previously known to be active 1156–87 CE) further corroborates that this account is less likely to have been written during one of Ibn Yijū's earlier sojourns in Yemen. Bardād. Mentions various payments related to the people above; a female slave and a male slave (jāriya wa-ʿabd); rent for houses in the locations above; two qirats of grapes and bread; and other travel provisions (zād).
