الوصف

Letter addressed to the amir Muḥammad b. Baghdād(?). In Arabic script. Dating: late Mamluk or Ottoman-era. Begins, "baʿd al-taḥiyya wa-l-taslīm wa-l-ʿizz wa-l-takrīm bi-l-jināb al-karīm...." There is an address on verso. The sender appears to be the amīr Muẓaffar the nāẓir of al-Kawm(?). The addressee's name appears in full again but is difficult to read. May involve dues owed by peasants, perhaps at Kawm al-Naṣab in Manūfiyya. Needs examination.
