Receipt issued to Abū l-Ḥasan b. Wahb for his ḍamān on dyeing in Madīnat al-Fayyūm and for the appointed treasurers. Dated: end of Jumādā I 402 (29 December 1011 CE) according to Bondioli, Luescher, Rustow, and Vanthieghem (Khan reads 403). Written by the jahbadh Mīkhāʾīl b. ʿAbd al-Masīḥ. Amount: one dīnār exactly (Khan reads 3 and a half and a sixteenth). Verso is blank. Prior description: Receipt from the archive of Abū l-Ḥasan b. Wahb. Written by Mīkhāʾīl b. ʿAbd al-Masīḥ, the cashier, and registered by the Office of Accounts on behalf of the Office of Supervision: Abū l-Ḥasan b. Wahb has paid the sum of 3 and a half and a sixteenth (dirhams?) for the estates in Al-Fayyūm, under the supervision of the judge Thiqat al-Mulk Makīn al-Dawla wa-Amīnuhā, of the protégé of the commander of the faithful Abū l-Ḥasan ʿAlī b.
