الوصف

Verso: Ketubba fragment on parchment. Dating: likely 11th century, with a partial year visible, [13]46 or [13]76 Seleucid. The dowry list is partially preserved with the items' values listed in gold dinars. The two items preserved are the unidentified גאן (see Bodl. MS heb. d 65/26 + ENA NS 3.24 + Bodl. MS heb. b 3/28 + T-S 12.128 (PGPID 560) and Friedman, Jewish Marriage in Palestine, 2:21 n. 15) and a garment (thawb). The number "25" is also preserved in the bottom line. Reused on recto for rhymed Hebrew praises probably addressed to a dignitary (some of the phrases don't seem consistent with praises for God). Mentions חביבים סגנים and בני לוי גאוני הכהונה. This shelfmark may be related to the neighboring one, ENA NS 77.632 (PGPID 13666), which might comprise the upper ornamental section of a ketubba. Requires further examination. MCD.
