Description / Bio

A scribe in Tyre, later to advance to the position of Ḥaver (already in 1028CE) and later "the fourth" (already in 1037CE). Several documents signed (and probably written) by him were preserved and edited, including legal deeds and letters. Additional documents were identified as written by him according to Mordechai Akiva Friedman. Date range of documents 1011-1037CE.
