Enslaved woman (jāriya) mentioned in a legal document in which Abu al-Baqa gives his son Mukarram rights to one-half share in her enslavement. The scribe identified Misk as "black" in the margin of the document (אלסודה אלדי אסמהא מסך). (Craig Perry, Slavery and the Jews of Medieval Egypt, Appendix 1, no. 53)
