Enslaved Byzantine woman (jāriya Rūmiyya) mentioned in the dowry list section of a ketubba from 994/995 CE. The bride and groom were Sutayt b. Yaʾīr and Eli b. Qimoy. (Information from PGP and Craig Perry, Slavery and the Jews of Medieval Egypt, Appendix 1, no. 156)
