Enslaved woman mentioned in an early twelfth-century letter that was sent by the wife of ʿAllān b. Ḥassūn, an India trader, pleading with him to return from his travels (line 15r). (Information from PGP and Craig Perry, Slavery and the Jews of Medieval Egypt, Appendix 1, no. 137)
