Description / Bio

Enslaved person who was manumitted in Jerusalem in 1057 CE by Avraham b. Yiṣḥaq. The original shelfmark for this document is unknown and the manuscript itself is possibly lost. Craig Perry notes that it may have originally been part of the ENA 19 series. (Information from Craig Perry, Slavery and the Jews of Medieval Egypt, Appendix 2, no. 37)
