Lāmiʿ ibn Ḥasan al-Kanzī

Muslim landowner in Nubia and courtier to the king of Nubia; correspondent of the Nubian eparch/ikhshīl. His letters to the eparch are presented through the mediation of the amīr Kanz al-Dawla. Has sworn an agreement to the eparch in the presence of the bishop to serve the Nubian king and protect the eparch’s companions.
