Legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe. A woman gives to a man a gift consisting of two objects delivered to him in the presence of the witnesses on condition that he does not leave Miṣr (Fustat? Egypt?) during her lifetime and that she has the right to fine him if he does. Because of the fragmentary state it is impossible to know the family relationship between the two (if any). (Information from Goitein's index card.)
