תיאור

Letter from Umm Dāʾūd to her nephew (brother's son) Abū Zikrī b. Eliyyahu. Dating: first half of the 13th century. Describing the wedding of her daughter Sitt al-Yumn to Hibatallāh the son of the teacher Futūḥ (=Yehuda) Ibn al-ʿAmmānī. Attendees included the Nasi, "the judge," and R. Shemuel. She asks the addressee to speak to Abū l-Karam Ibn al-Siqillī concerning 18 dirhams. She also tells him to speak to his mother concerning packaging and sending various household items.
