Late commercial letter to Isaac regarding the shipping of goat wool. Mentions a number of individuals, including Cosimo (קוזמו), Simon (סימון), Moshe Juwaylī (משה גויילי), Yaʿaqov Granāṭī (יעקב גרנאטי), Yaʿaqov Tabūlī (יעקב ן טבולי), Ḥusayn Aghā (חסין אגא), Muṣṭafā (מצטפי), and Shemuʾel and Yosef. Customs taxes (מכס), the cities of Rosetta (רשיד) and Venice (ויניציאה), and ships’ captains (קפטאן) are also mentioned. Dated Wednesday 2 Tammuz ‘after midnight’ (written as ב with two sublinear dots to differentiate from כ). A large amount of the letter is written in the margins. (Information from CUDL.)
