Bill of sale for an enslaved woman. Dating: ca. 1100 CE (based on Med Soc II, p. 601 n. 18). The name of the enslaved woman may not be preserved. Parties to the transaction: Ḥalfon b. Saʿadya and Netanʾel b. Ḥalfon ha-Levi. The document and the qiyyum (validation) are written and signed by Avraham b. Natan Av ha-Yeshiva, apparently in the same session. Witnesses for the main part of the document: Moshe b. David ha-Levi; Menaḥem b. Shemuel. Witnesses for the validation: Aharon b. Ḥalfon ha-Kohen he-Ḥaver; Mevorakh b. Natan ha-Neʾeman.
