Drafts or copies of phrases from official correspondence. Medieval-era. The two main sections both seem incomplete and unrelated to each other. The first has to do with a report of somebody's death in Dhū l-Ḥijja 521 AH = January 1127 / February 28 CE ( ولما انهي سقوطه بالوفاة في ذي الحجة سنة احدى وعشرين و[خمسماىة] اعلم بذلك . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .سنة احدى وعشرين وخمسماىة). The second has to do with Jaʿfar and Ṣubḥ(?) the sons of Wafiyy al-Dawla, who are of the Afḍalī continent (min al-ṭāʾifa al-afḍaliyya) and hold a certain iqṭāʿ valued at a certain amount (واما جعفر وصبح(؟) ولدي وفي الدولة المذكورين فهما من الطايفة الافضلية ومقطعين . . . . . . نواحيها ومبلغه في السنة مع . . . . . . . . . . في حماية الطمر(؟) مية(؟) . . . . . صح من العين . . . .). Verso appears to be Arabic poetry rhyming on -āhī. Needs further examination.
