Official correspondence in Arabic script. The beginnings of 5 lines are preserved. Mentions the term 'istikhrāj.' In the margin there are pen trials and/or endorsements, one of them referring to 'al-ḥaḍra al-ʿāliya al-shaykhiyya.' Reused on recto for Hebrew prayers (in the hand of Ḥillel b. ʿEli?).
