Two letters, or draft of letters, in Arabic script. Recto: The name of the writer in the tarjama reads as Muḥammad al-Sayfī and apart from the opening formula, not much of the content is preserved. Despite the layout consistent with a petition, the second and third lines contain legalistic formulae regarding a debt owed to the Jewish man Bū ʿAlī and his brother Makārim (غير مكره ولا مجبران عليه وعنده وفي خالص ماله دينارا . . . بو علي اليهودي واخيه مكارم . . . .). Verso: The second letter is addressed to a certain al-Qāḍī al-Ajall. Phrases: خضر مولاي القاضي الاجل اطال الله [بقاه وادام عزه] ومن حسن توفيقه لا اخلاه جمع الله بيننا على اسر [حال] انه ولي ذلك والقادر عليه ان شا الله والذي تريد علمه . . . . . . Needs examination.
